the lowdown
A few years back, creating websites was only a hobby for me, until I realized that while being paid for my services, I actually enjoyed the work involved. Turning a blank Photoshop file into a pixel perfect design? Love it. Taking a layout and slicing it up into clean, standards-friendly css and xhtml? Love it. Making sure that layout displays correctly for the maximum number of users? Couldn't do without it.
So work didn't seem like, well...work (as it is dreadingly referred to at times). Which brings me to today, where, after an ad agency crash course in the realities of seeing high-profile projects from start to finish, I've decided to look for something new. A new environment, a new project, a new opportunity to improve upon my skills, and yet another chance to help a client improve upon their business.
